Koko Engineering was founded shortly after completion of the Koko Crater Stairs restoration — the largest volunteer public works project in Hawaii state history and awarded Outstanding Achievement by the Hawaii American Society of Civil Engineers (2022). Dave Nixon, the Project Manager and a Structural Engineer, created Koko Engineering to provide a full suite of construction engineering services on a contract basis for firms that need to supplement their project management capacity.
We execute a wide range of construction management tasks including Project Management, Quality Control Management, Project Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Detailing/Drafting, Design Coordination, Scheduling, and Inspection Management. Our USACE/NAVFAC-certified QCM staff are experienced with ProCore and RMS and can integrate with all major project management and quality control interfaces. We have experience and can provide project management and project engineering services across the full range of standard construction divisions. Koko Engineering staff can be brought in short term or long term to provide coverage of individual areas or to manage entire projects.
